Brass Fixture Cleaning Tip
Making Brass Polishing Less Arduous
If you have chosen Brass fixtures for your bathroom, they will look beautiful but they do require a certain amount of maintenance and cleaning. Although polishing brass might not be the most fun aspect of cleaning a bathroom, it doesn't have to be horrible. To shine your brass, cut a lemon in half and dip it in some sea salt. Rub this on the brass fixtures and wipe with a clean cloth. If you don't have a lemon or lemon juice close at hand, make a paste from vinegar, salt and flour. Rub the paste into the brass and dry it off with a thick cloth. Remember this: Before using a brass cleaning product, test it in a hidden area. Some brass cleaning products leave a film behind, or can damage your brass.
